2.1. Basic
You can turn page by various ways.
  • Swipe screen
  • Tap right side to go next page
  • Tap top left on the screen to go first page

2.2. Page turning layout
The piaScore enables you to turn page freely. We recommend 1 Page on portrait view, Scroll or 2 Pages on landscape view.
  1. Tap Page on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap any layout button to change layout
  3. Tap any animation button to change page turning animation
  • 1 Page : Turn 1 page
  • Scroll : Automatic vertical page scrolling
  • Half : Turn 1/2 page (portlait view only)
  • 2 Pages : Turn 2 pages (landscape view only)

2.3. Automatic vertical scrolling
This feature is amazing for a musician who use both hands (in short, you). The piaScore scrolls a page automatically, so you don't need to turn page yourself. Of course, you can change scrolling speed, set scrolling duration.
  1. Tap Page on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap Scroll, then you can see "Auto page turning speed" view
  3. Tap on the view
  4. To change speed, swipe speed slider or tap Timer icon on the view to set duration

3. Page tool
3.1. Bookmark
To jump page that you want to go, please use "Bookmark".
  1. Tap Bookmark on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. To add bookmark, tap + button on the top left of popover
  3. To import table of contennts (bookmarks) from file, tap Import button on the top left of popover
  4. To delete bookmark, swipe left list (like Mail app)

3.2. Crop page
About some sheet music, there is huge blank space at up / down / left / right on page. By removing the space, you can bigger page.
  1. Tap Crop on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Slide margin (zoom) slider and adjust space
  3. To save, tap screen once

4. Get sheet music
You can get sheet music via varius ways.
4.1. Free classical sheet music
The piaScore uses IMSLP Petrucci database to search and get classical sheet music. You can get a huge number of classical sheet music for free.
  1. Tap Download on catalog tab
  2. Tap Free classical sheet music
  3. Enter keyword (ex. composer name, work name) and search
  4. Select work that you want to get
  5. Select file version that you want to get
  6. Start downloading

4.2. Store
The piaScore offer any Pop songs, guitar songs and piano sheet music.
  1. Tap Download on catalog tab
  2. Tap Store
  3. Login
  4. You can purchase sheet music

4.3. Cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive and iCloud)
If you use a cloud file sharing service such as Dropbox, Google Drive and iCloud, you can download sheet music files (pdf) from these services.
  1. Tap Download on catalog tab
  2. Tap Cloud
  3. Select service
  4. Login service
  5. Search files
  6. Tap file, and then start downloading
  7. If you want to download all files in a directory, tap Download icon (cloud) on the left of list

4.4. Capturing from paper
Probably you have many paper sheet music. The piaScore provides capturing method them into the app.
  1. Tap Download on catalog tab
  2. Tap Camera capture
  3. To capture image via camera, tap Camera on the top bar
  4. To import image from iOS's "Photo", tap Album on the top bar, and select images. At the end, tap + button on the top right of view
  5. To change page ordering, long press a page
  6. To rotate page, rotate a page thumbnail image by using 2 fingers

5. Writing Down Notes
You can write down any notes in the score. Pens of 3 sizes & 6 colors, easy stamp input, text writing are available.

To enter writing mode, please tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view, or hold score view.
To close writing mode, please tap X button on the bottom writing toolbar.
5.1. Pen
  1. Tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Select color in 6 colors
  3. If you want to change a preset color, tap color twice

5.2. Stamp
  1. Tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap Stamp button on the bottom writing toolbar
  3. Select stamp
  4. Push stamp on screen

5.3. Text
  1. Tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap Text button on the bottom writing toolbar
  3. Tap screen where you want to put text on
  4. Enter text
  5. To change text format (font, color, size), tap Writing button twice, or Style on virtual keyboard

5.4. Eraser
  1. Tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap Eraser button on the bottom writing toolbar
  3. If you want to change size, tap Eraser button twice, then popover is appeared

5.5. Undo / Redo
  1. Tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap Undo button or Redo button

5.6. Palm rejection
The palm rejection feature is useful for writing with stylus or Apple pencil.
  1. Tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap or slide up Palm rejection part

5.7. Delete all writing
  1. Tap Writing button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap Eraser button on the bottom writing toolbar twice
  3. Tap nob button on the bottom of popover, then Delete writing is appeared

6. Edit
6.1. Delete sheet music
  1. Tap Select on the top right of catalog view
  2. Select sheet music to delete
  3. Tap Delete on the top left of catalog view

6.2. Edit title, artist, composer
The app enables you to change a title, composer name freely.
  1. Tap Info button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap Edit
  3. Enter title, select artist etc.
  4. Tap Save

6.3. Change bookcover
You can change a bookcover as you like. Beautiful bookcover makes you happy more :) .
  1. Tap Info button on the bottom toolbar of score view
  2. Tap bookcover image
  3. Select photos, scores or preset bookcovers

7. Tag / Setlist
Tag is an annotation to sheet music such as “Practice”, “Romantic”, “2015 Summer Live” and so on. It likes “Folder”. By adding tag, you can manage sheet music easily.

Setlist is similar to "Tag". "Setlist" have ordering, so you can create new piece by combining some files.
7.1. Tag
  1. Tap Tag on the top of catalog view
  2. To create tag, tap + on the top right of view
  3. Enter tag name, and select songs
  4. Tap save

7.2. Setlist
  1. Tap Setlist on the top of catalog view
  2. To create setlist, tap + on the top right of view
  3. Enter setlist name, and select songs
  4. Tap save

8. Music tools
8.1. Music player
This music player is for listening background music with playing music. The music player is related with iTunes.
  1. Show menu bar by tapping score view
  2. Tap Music button on the left toolbar
  3. Tap body to select music
  4. Select music
  5. Tap to play music
  6. To play repeatedly, tap Repeat icon on the right of player

8.2. Keyboard
This virtual piano keyboard is useful for playing music.
  1. Show menu bar by tapping score view
  2. Tap Keyboard button on the left toolbar
  3. To change size, tap Resize icon on the top of keyboard

8.3. Tuner
This is chromatic instrument tuner. It's very high accuracy.
  1. Show menu bar by tapping score view
  2. Tap Tuner button on the left toolbar
  3. To turn tuner on, tap Tuner icon on the left of the tuner body
  4. To turn sound (pitch pipe) on, tap Sound icon on the right of the tuner body

8.4. Recoreder
You can export audio file (*.caf) via iTunes file sharing.
  1. Show menu bar by tapping score view
  2. Tap Recorder button on the left toolbar
  3. To record a sound, tap Record button
  4. To play a sound, tap Play button
  5. To delete a sound file, swipe it to left

8.5. Movie
  1. Show menu bar by tapping score view
  2. Tap Movie button on the left toolbar
  3. Select movie and tap Play button

8.6. Metronome
This classical metronome is useful for practice. Unlike real metronome, the metronome has visual (silent) mode.
  1. Show menu bar by tapping score view
  2. Tap Metronome button on the left toolbar
  3. Tap upper half of metronome
  4. To change tempo, slide weight up / down, tap - / + button
  5. To set tempo directly, tap tempo number area (see movie)
